Presence Talents is an enterprise-grade HR platform designed to transform workforce management through intelligent skills assessment and career planning. The platform centralizes employee development by integrating training organization, performance interviews, and talent mapping into a single ecosystem. My work focused on evolving the platform from a collection of functional modules into a cohesive, user-centric tool that empowers organizations to foster professional growth and operational efficiency.

  • Product Objective
  • The objective was to redesign Presence Talents into a unified workforce development solution capable of handling complex HR data while remaining accessible to all levels of an organization. The goal was to simplify the management of employee lifecycles—ranging from initial skills assessment to long-term career pathing—ensuring that data-heavy processes like performance reviews felt intuitive rather than administrative

  • As the Senior Product Designer, I was responsible for the architectural overhaul and visual redesign of the Presence Talents platform. I led the transition from a feature-driven interface to a goal-oriented user experience, auditing existing workflows to identify and remove friction in the talent management process. My scope included defining the navigation strategy, designing the core performance modules, and establishing a scalable design language that could support the platform's rapid organic growth.
Core Challenges

The primary challenge was Workforce Complexity. Because the platform grew organically to satisfy diverse client needs, the interface had become fragmented, leading to “feature fatigue.” I had to restructure the information architecture to support two very different user types: HR Admins who need deep data density for reporting, and Employees who need a clean, motivating interface for their personal career development.

Product Strategy & UX Approach

To ensure the platform met both business objectives and user needs, I followed an iterative Design Thinking process focused on clarity, scalability, and functional efficiency.

Platform Audit & User Synthesis

I conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the existing modules and synthesized user feedback to identify the most critical bottlenecks in the interview and assessment workflows.

Structural Ideation

I facilitated workshops to rethink the platform’s hierarchy, moving away from a “list of tools” toward a streamlined “career journey” workflow.

Blueprint & Wireframing

I developed detailed wireframes to test new navigation patterns, ensuring that managers could switch between high-level team overviews and individual employee deep-dives with minimal clicks.

Visual System Design

I led the branding and UI design phase, creating a professional yet engaging visual language that emphasized clarity and reduced the “administrative feel” of the platform.

Validation & Refinement

Through iterative testing, I fine-tuned the interaction models for complex tasks like skills-gap analysis to ensure the output was actionable for stakeholders.
